Start by making a traditional pumpkin pie, or use your favorite store bought pie either fresh or frozen. Let cool.


Whip the heavy whipping cream with an electric hand mixer until stiff peaks form.


In another bowl, cream the softened cream cheese with an electric hand mixer until a smooth texture is formed.


Mix together the cream cheese and whipped cream until a smooth mixture. Fold in the pumpkin spice and puree.


Spread the creamy mixture on top of the cooled pie. Smooth a thick double layer over the pie.


Sprinkle pumpkin pie spice over the top and let set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This also freezes well!
