Begin by sautéing  the diced onion and fresh mushrooms.

While the mushrooms and onions are cooking, boil chicken broth and cook cut fresh green beans. Drain and set aside once tender.

In a 9x13 casserole dish, add the cooked green beans, mushrooms, onions, cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions.

Mix altogether until a mixture is formed. Make sure to push the green bean mixture to all sides of the dish.

Cook for 20 minutes at 350* F. Remove from the oven and top with shredded cheese. Cook for another 10 minutes.
