Begin by slicing Granny Smith or Honey Crisp apples and seasoning them with cinnamon, sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch.

Press pie crust into a 9 inch glass pan and pour the seasoned apples into the pie crust.

Pour caramel sauce over the top of the apples and then sprinkle coarse sea salt over the caramel.

Place the top pie crust over the caramel apples and brush the top with an egg wash and make small slits for ventilation.

Bake for 40-45 minutes at 400* F. Remove the pie from the oven and let completely cool to set.
