This Cajun Shrimp Pasta Recipe is easy to make and creamy. Made with spinach, bell peppers, parmesan cheese and without whipping cream, it's the perfect blend of textures and flavors.

Step 1

 Saute onion and garlic on medium heat for 5 minutes. Cook pasta according to package directions

Step 2:

Stir in flour. It will look weird, just trust the process!

Step 3:

Pour in 1 cup milk. It will be clumpy and weird, just keep going. :)

Step 4:

Stir in milk until well combined. Add the rest of the milk, 1 cup at a time, stirring until combined after each addition.

Stir in the seasonings, then the bell peppers and spinach and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce starts to thicken.

This sauce is EVERYTHING. The cajun is So good with the shrimp. And I'd never made Alfredo from a roux before. It was silky smooth and creamy and perfect.
