In an instant pot/electric pressure cooker add the water, taco seasoning packet, and 1 pound of ground beef.

Set the pressure cooker to high and pressure cook for  4 minutes if thawed.

When the timer goes off, quick release the pressure and remove the lid. The meat will be half cooked.

Press the saute button and begin to break up the meat and continue cooking.

Continue to cook until excess water evaporates away and meat is cooked all the way through.
