Learn how to make chocolate covered blueberries with this quick and easy recipe using dark chocolate. They taste just like a copycat brookside or trader joes recipe you can enjoy fresh or frozen.
Wash and dry blueberries. This recipe works best with room temperature blueberries. We highly recommend washing the blueberries and allowing them to dry for 30 minutes or so so they can come to room temperature. Watch our video or check out the photos above for a great visual.
Melt chocolate in microwave at 30 seconds intervals, stirring in between. Mine took 60 seconds. Once it's melted pour over the blueberries and mix in then immediately plop onto wax or parchment paper in clusters. It should make around 12 clusters. Allow to harden for 20 minutes before serving.

Notes
Can be stored in the refrigerator up to 5 days.
It is only recommended to freeze this recipe if intending to consume while frozen (and would make a great frozen summertime treat!). It is not recommended to freeze then thaw.
If concerned about looks, work quickly or they will end up ugly.
Can be made with ⅔ cup chocolate for a "lower sugar version" and while they are delicious this way, they're really ugly. There isn't enough chocolate to give them that beautiful coated-in-chocolate look.
Make sure your blueberries are completely dry and at room temperature for the best results.
Use a high quality chocolate or they will be hard to dip or not have a very good chocolate flavor.
