This tasty Dirt Cup recipe is so easy to make and tastes delicious. Made with pudding and crushed Oreos, kids love this fun recipe and it's perfect for birthday parties, holidays like Easter and Earth Day.
Place cold milk in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle pudding mix on top and whisk thoroughly to combine. Let sit until thickened, about 3-5 minutes. Mix in Cool Whip using a spatula and a folding motion. Set to the side.
Place OREOs in a food processor and blend roughly. You want some chunks left for the dirt cups.
Fill cup ⅓ full of pudding mixture. Top with a layer of crushed OREOs, then another layer of pudding followed by another layer of OREOs. See photos above. Top with worms, frogs and/or dinosaurs or other desired decorations.

Notes
This makes 4-6 dirt cups, depending how big of cups you use and how full you fill the cups.
While making this recipe we found that the OREOs became soggy after a few hours. If you want to make this recipe ahead, we recommend making the pudding and storing it in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Assemble the same day as eating.
Use 2% or whole milk for a thicker, creamier pudding
This recipe does not freeze well, we do not recommend it.
Feel free to make this with different types of pudding for different colored layers of dirt. This could be great with vanilla, butterscotch, OREO, dark chocolate and more!
