Instructions
Prepare your breads, make your mini muffins (I used apple muffins and blueberry muffins), pancakes, french toast sticks, etc.
Prepare your meats by cooking any meats you are using such as sausage or bacon.
Prepare fruit by washing and/or chopping.
Assemble your breakfast board by starting with your anchors. Your anchors are any bowls or large decorative items you are using. Space them evenly. See pictures above for a great visual on this.
Start placing groups of elements around the edges and anchors. Remember nothing is permanent, and if you place it and it looks funny, just move it. Fill in all the gaps- this is what makes a charcuterie board so stunning is how full it is. Place elements of different colors and textures next to each other to give variety and make it more beautiful.
Notes
I like to buy my charcuterie boards from places like TJMaxx and Home Goods for the best prices.
Breakfast Charcuterie Boards really are so easy to make and a simple way to serve finger foods for breakfast or brunch.
Try things like boiled eggs, cheese platter, lox, smoked salmon, or grilled breakfast foods or anything you can imagine! Make it your own.
Make sure the board is nice and full to really give the platter that beautiful look!
Store cold items in the refrigerator in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
Store other items at room temperature in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
We recommend having plenty of fruit in reserve. It's always the most popular feature when we make the board and it's nice to have extra to fill the fruit back up.
