Fresh or frozen Garlic bread in the air fryer is life-changing good. It's quick and easy to make, hot and crisp on the outside, soft and warm on the inside.
Take softened butter (make sure it's really soft) and place in a bowl. Add spices and parmesan cheese then stir until well combined.
Spread the softened garlic butter on the bread. You can use as much or as little as you'd like.
Cook in batches. Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 2-5 minutes. Air fryer cook times can vary, so start checking at minute 2. Cook to desired crispness. For soft and chewy, with a slightly crispy edge, cook 2-4 minutes. For a crisper, more toast like version, cook 4-5 minutes.
Remove from air fryer and allow to cool a couple of minutes then serve immediately!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350*F for 2-3 minutes.
Freeze in an airtight container for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350*F for 5-7 minutes.
Enjoy this hot, right out of the air fryer for best results. We love it while it's hot and the butter is all melty.
Not all air fryers are created equal. For reference, we used a NINJA Foodi Grill XL to air fry this garlic bread. Times and temperatures may vary.
Don't wait for the bread to turn a deep golden brown or it will be too dried out and rock hard.
