Instructions
Beat softened butter on medium speed until perfectly smooth and lightened in color, about 1-2 minutes. Add honey and vanilla and beat another minute until well combined.Store in the refrigerator when not using.
Notes
While testing our honey butter recipe, we discovered people liked it a lot more with just a touch of salt. They found it much more satisfying. If using unsalted butter, add a scant ¼ teaspoon salt.
We found that people's preferences for sweetness were all over the place. If you don't like your honey butter very sweet, start with 3 Tablespoons. For a sweeter honey butter, add up to ¼ cup more honey.
