Instructions
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add buttermilk, mayonnaise, and sprinkle the Hidden Valley Ranch Packet on top. See photos above for a great visual.
1 cup Buttermilk,
1 cup Mayonnaise,
1 ounce Hidden Valley Ranch Packet
Mix all together until a smooth mixture is formed.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill and then enjoy with wings, vegetables or top a salad.
Notes
Make sure to use brand name, and quality mayonnaise like Hellman's or Dukes in order to get a similar consistency and texture as the restaurant.
Substitute the buttermilk with heavy cream if preferred.
Store mixed dressing in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks if you used good/just opened buttermilk.
We don't recommend freezing the ranch.
Use half and half, milk, or milk substitutes instead of buttermilk. The texture and taste will change.
Try sour cream, or plain greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
