These Chicken Caesar Wraps have a variety of textures. Crunchy romaine lettuce, tender flavorful chicken, yummy bacon bits and shredded parmesan cheese all come together with your favorite Caesar dressing to form one of the easiest, lightest and tastiest meals.

We love Caesar salad but I've never felt like it was hearty enough to feed my teenage boys for a main dish. This was incredibly easy, especially because I used a rotisserie chicken and it was a great main dish! The entire family loved it and has asked that I make it again soon!

What is in Chicken Caesar Wrap
Below is a list of ingredients needed for this recipe. Follow our tips on each ingredient for best results.
- Pita pockets – We prefer thinner pitas for the perfect bread-to-filling ratio.
- Chicken – Leftover rotisserie chicken or cooked shredded chicken works best. Use any cut you prefer.
- Romaine lettuce – Provides the best crunch. A mix of romaine and spring mix also works well.
- Spices – Garlic powder, rosemary, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper give the chicken great flavor. We tested a variety of spices and quantities until we landed on the perfect mixture.
- Bacon bits – Store-bought works, but freshly cooked and crumbled bacon has the best taste.
- Parmesan cheese – Ties all the flavors together. Romano cheese can be substituted for a bolder taste.
- Caesar dressing – We love Newman's Own, but use your favorite! Italian dressing works as well. Our taste testers also enjoyed this a lot with Olive Garden dressing.

How to Make Chicken Caesar Wraps

- Wash and chop romaine into bite-sized pieces and place in a large bowl. Drizzle Caesar dressing over the lettuce and toss to coat evenly.

- Add shredded chicken to a bowl, season with spices, and stir to combine.

- Layer dressed lettuce and seasoned chicken into pita pockets. Sprinkle with bacon bits and parmesan cheese.
Hint: Be sure to check out an easy way to shred chicken how to shred chicken. I like to cook a bunch at once and stick extras in the freezer so I always have some on hand. Canned chicken also works great.
The way you want it! Make these your own and toss with your favorite salad toppings. We love to use whatever we have in our refrigerator like tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers.
Storing Chicken Caesar Wraps
Store ingredients separately in an airtight container. If the lettuce is stored with the other ingredients, it will get soggy. You can freeze some of the ingredients like the chicken and bacon and pita pockets in freezer containers for up to 2 months.
Top Tips
Make this ahead of time! Prepare all ingredients up to 2 days ahead of time but keep them separated. Combine right before serving.

Variations and Substitutions
We love switching things up when we're in the kitchen. Try any of these variations for something a little different.
- Change up the dressing – Use your favorite Italian or Caesar dressing, but avoid sweet dressings.
- Make it a salad – Skip the pita and enjoy it as a classic Caesar salad.
- Try using our blackened chicken – It adds a fun depth of flavor and is a good alternate if you don't like the texture of shredded chicken.
- Spicy- Make these a little spicy by adding ¼ - ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes at the same time as the seasonings.
