How to make Slow Cooker Chicken Potatoes and Green Beans
Making Slow Cooker Chicken Potatoes and Green Beans is simple!
First start by spraying the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray.
Next, place the chicken breasts in the center of the slow cooker. Add fresh green beans to one side of the chicken, and red potatoes to the other side.
I either use quartered red potatoes, or I love to use baby red potatoes. Baby red potatoes pair so well with this meal. I love the texture after they are done cooking.
Finally, In a small bowl, mix together lemon juice, olive oil, Italian Seasoning, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken, green beans, and potatoes.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours.
Tips and Tricks
Make sure to use thawed raw chicken. If you use frozen chicken, you need to cook it longer and the green beans and potatoes will over cook. When I know I'm going to make this meal, I like to pull the chicken breasts out of the freezer to thaw over night in the refrigerator.
