How to Cook Bagel Bites in the Air Fryer
It's important to get the right Air Fryer Bagel Bites time and temperature right for easy results. All air fryers cook differently, but use our suggested measurements as a starting point.

- Add frozen bagel bites, evenly spaced, to the bottom of an air fryer basket.

- Air fry for 7 to 10 minutes until the cheese starts to brown and is hot all the way through.
Hint: Remember to keep the bagel bites spaced out. They can touch slightly, but don't have them overlapping or on top of one another. They won't crisp up and cook evenly.

Top tip
All air fryers cook differently! Keep an eye on your food by checking every few minutes to make sure you don't burn your bagel bites. We have relied solely on cook times with air fryer recipes before, and the food has turned out underdone or burned, depending on the type of air fryer used while creating the recipe.

Air Fryer Bagel Bites
Equipment
Ingredients
- 12 bagel bites
- Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes optional, for topping
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil I used avocado oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Brush air fryer basket with cooking oil. Place Bagel Bits in the air fryer basket in a single layer, just barely not touching. Top with any desired toppings. Air fry for 5-7 minutes, until cheese is melted and the edges start to deepen in color.
Notes
- Make these homemade by buying mini bagels. Cut them in half and spread marinara then your favorite pizza toppings on top. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and air fryer for 3 minutes until cheese is melted and bagels reach desired crispness.
- Remember that not all air fryers cook the same. This recipe used a ninja foodi air fryer. You may need to adjust the time and temperature depending on what type of air fryer you have. Be sure to check every few minutes so you don't over bake your bagel bites.
- Our favorite way to eat these is with a sprinkling of Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. It adds a little extra flavor and is quick and easy to do!
- We do not recommend using a cooking spray to grease the air fryer basket. We have found cooking sprays can sometimes leave a gummy residue that is hard to get off.

Bagel bites are much better in the air fryer than the microwave. The microwave leaves the bottom a little moist and squishy. The air fryer gives that fresh out of the oven pizza texture in a tiny bagel bite.
