Key Ingredients
We can't get over how adorable this candy sushi is, and it's super easy to put together. We love making them with our kids.

- Rice Krispies: Use Rice Krispies cereal. You can use name-brand or store-bought; they both work.
- Fun Shaped Gummy Candy: To have that fun sushi effect, you're going to want to get snake candies for the filling and Swedish fish to top the "shashmi" with.
- Fruit Roll-Up- Skip the seaweed and wrap this fun sugary treat with fruit roll-ups.
How to Make Sushi Candy
Use these step-by-step instructions as a guide to get the best results. You'll love how simple this recipe is!

- Start by making standard Rice Krispies Treats. Be prepared with the type of shape you want to make because you're going to form the cereal mixture while the sushi is still warm.

- Put together the sushi rolls! Make them in rolls on the fruit roll-ups for the traditional or mix it up with a "nigiri" look.

- Cut the rolled-up candy into even rolls.

- Prepare the candy sushi in a fun way to make it look like the real deal!
Helpful Hint: Keep a little butter or cooking spray on your hands when working with the Rice Krispies mixture to prevent sticking and make shaping easier.

Common Mistakes
Adding too much filling can cause the rolls to fall apart or not seal properly. Spreading the Rice Krispies layer too thick can also make rolling difficult, so keep it thin and even.
Top Tip
Don't overfill your rolls-using too much candy can make them hard to roll and slice cleanly. It may take a couple of tries to get the perfect balance, but once you do, they come together easily.
